      Copywriter

      Quidsi's Soap.com and Diapers.com brands are seeking clever and quick copywriters to write compelling, relevant and accurate copy geared to a wide assortment of personal, beauty, health household and baby products. We're looking for a few talented writers who can deftly describe product details, skillfully summarize selling points and present various product perks. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic and eager to help grow our brands by providing engaging product information in keeping with both the Soap.com and Diapers.com voices
      Our ideal Copywriter candidate is detail-oriented, extremely organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once and able to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. The copywriter will need to stay updated on current industry trends and terminology across all product categories

      Responsibilities:
      Write detailed, colorful and accurate product descriptions tailored to the online shopper
      Come up with clever headlines, subheads and taglines for promotional banners
      Assist category managers, marketers and others in drafting customer-facing content
      Proofread and fact-check copy
      Research and write useful buying guides to assist customers in making their purchasing decisions
      Assist in developing internal style guide and ensure site copy meets style standards
      Qualifications:
      BA/BS required
      2-3 years experience
      Exceptional writing, line editing and copyediting skills
      Previous experience with consumer content and products preferred
      Engaging way with words
      Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, demanding environment with competing deadlines
      Good communication skills
      Good eye for what works well graphically
      Web/e-commerce/SEO keyword experience a plus

      This position is located in Jersey City, NJ. Our beautiful office is located across from the Exchange Place Path Station.
