"The best deal on diapers and so much more"

Founded in Montclair, New Jersey, by Marc Lore and Vinit Bharara, Diapers.com is the largest online baby care specialty site in the United States. As dads themselves, Marc and Vinit understand the world of diapers.

Tired of the 'diaper runaround' - midnight store runs for diapers, frustrated searches for the right diaper size, wasted time waiting in store lines and traffic - they knew there must be a better way. Turning to the convenience of the Internet for help, they were astonished with the lack of online diaper sources.

Diapers.com was quickly born, initially offering the most popular name-brand diapers, wipes and formula - and then adding almost every baby product you can think of, from bottles and baby food, to shampoo and rash ointment, and now gear and nursery furniture! Its mission: To offer the lowest prices moms (and dads!) will find online, along with the convenience of fast, free shipping and the best customer service around. Standing behind this mission, Diapers.com makes it easy for customers to contact them by phone or email - the company name says it all.

In just a few months, Diapers.com spurred a major 'change' in the way parents buy diapers. The company continues to grow exponentially, thanks to an ever-expanding brigade of over 500,000 happy moms and dads who cheerfully spread the word on where to find "the best deal on diapers and so much more."

      Our Short (But Incredible) History

In 2005, best friends Marc and Vinit started Diapers.com with a simple goal – to make life easier for new parents. Since then, more than a million customers have shopped the site for its wide selection of diapers, formula, car seats, strollers, clothing, cribs, toys and more.

Serving moms and dads was one thing, but making life easier for the rest of the family was the next big step. The team knew the operational systems that made Diapers.com so efficient could also be leveraged to support new specialty sites, offering many other product assortments. In 2009, Quidsi (meaning "what if" in Latin) was adopted as a corporate name to serve as an umbrella for all its sites. The following year, the company announced the launch of Soap.com. With a great selection of 25,000 health, beauty and household products, Soap.com set out to deliver one-stop shopping for everyday essentials.

In April 2011, Quidsi was acquired by Seattle-based Amazon, the world's largest Internet retailer. The two companies share a passionate commitment to their customers as well as a culture of innovation and a focus on long-term vision. This acquisition gives Quidsi the opportunity to deliver its extraordinary service to an even larger audience. Quidsi continues to operate independently out of its New Jersey headquarters.

Shortly after the Amazon acquisition, Quidsi launched Wag.com, a pet specialty site. From food and treats to toys and pampering must-haves, Wag.com delivers everything you need for your pet, with the same speed and service our customers have come to expect. With Wag.com, there's something for the other baby in your family.

Soon after came YoYo.com, dedicated to making toy shopping an easy and fun experience. With straightforward tools, handpicked recommendations and a selection of more than 20,000 toys from both big names and specialty brands, YoYo.com helps shoppers find the perfect toy fast.

Six months later, Casa.com made its Quidsi debut with over 35,000 home goods, decor, and housewares products, arranged in a clean and easy-to-navigate site featuring everything from classic brands to specialty collections. Casa.com creates a curated experience that helps shoppers browse and find exactly what they need quickly and efficiently, making Casa.com the ultimate destination for online home shopping year-round.
