I regularly use California Baby sunscreen on my 1 year old. I purchased this stick for two reasons (1) convenience. Wanted something I could toss in my purse to have on hand for quick application/touch up while out and about and (2) in hopes that it would be easier to apply to my squirmy baby that hates sunscreen application. I had to rub incredibly hard to get the sunscreen on my baby and then still had to rub the white marks in. This was twice as difficult as applying the regular sunscreen. I am not sure if you are supposed to warm it up first? This stick will go to waste and I will not use again.

This stick made my baby's skin whiter than white no matter how many times I tried to rub it in! I tried to use the sunscreen on my own arm and I was LOL that it turned my skin white - a white film covered my arm! Not great for aesthetics, but it works as far as protection from the sun!

We use this for just the face. In 4 swipes my 2 year old's face is done. I also pack it for times of sun exposure that is focused like top of shoulders or hands when she has other sun screen on but needs just one more layer. I don't think it is great for the whole body, as the stick is very stiff, but it has reduced the tears and time it takes to put on my daughter's face.

My child has major food allergies and had allergic reactions to all other baby sun screens. The California Baby brand is the only brand he can use. This product is great for faces. Be careful though, it will melt if it is left out in the sun.

I have not been able to apply this product. It is very stiff and pulls on my daughter's skin. I love all of the other California Baby products.

This is the best natural sunscreen I have used. It is a little thick and you have to really rub it in, but you know for sure that it won't wear off or run into your child's eyes. It is totally worth it!

I have tried other non-chemical sunblock sticks, but they were chalky and very hard to apply. This product glides on easily providing even protection on my little one's nose, cheekbones & shoulders. I highly recommend using it along with the California Baby Everyday/Year-round Sunscreen Lotion - it's a great combination!

I ordered three of these sticks along with a couple tubes of the sunscreen. While the tubes were just fine (both the no fragrance and the citronella blend) this product was practically unusable. The sticks were so stiff that I could hardly get the sunscreen onto our skin. I should have sent them all back. Stick with the tubes!

When I tried to "glide" it on it broke off in little chunks. I don't know if maybe it is meant to be warmed up in the sun to glide on smoothly or what but I was very disappointed.

I've tried a lot of different sunblock sticks and they all have been a major disapointment--except this one! This stick is a great size, I keep it in my pocket, so no more fumbling around inside my bag. I've tried the Mustela stick in the past and found it to be chalky, hard to apply and sticky. I love this sun stick, I used all last summer, and would highly recommend it other parents.
