I have been using this product since the day my son was born (9 months ago), and I just love them. They work really well (all day), and are really easily disposed of. I just love this product and reccomend it to everyone I know!

Not your best option
By newmomVerified Reviewer from Wyoming on 10/7/2009
Pros:
Compact
Cons:
Leaks, Rough
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent, Medical Professional
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

These DO NOT attach to the bra at all... so since they are a bit rougher than other pads they can really rub you raw. These pads also do not absorb very much and once they are at all damp they do not breathe anymore.

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

I like that these pads come without a plastic wrap. These pads are thin, which might be fine for some women, but I needed something much more absorbent. I don't leak at night anymore, but when I first started nursing my daughter I'd have to put two or three in each cup of my bra! They still leaked! They also shift around in my bra. Just not worth it...

great after the first couple of weeks
By Mom of two girlsVerified Reviewer from Oakland, CA on 8/28/2009
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

I liked these better than other brands I tried. They are thin so they don't show through clothing, but they still do the job when I am out and about. I had some leaks in the first few weeks with both my daughters, but after that, these pads were great.

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

I'm not sure why there are so many negative comments. These worked great for me. They felt light and breathable. They didn't show through my shirts either. The only kind I've used with my 2 girls and one on the way.

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

These have always worked just fine for me, and I like that they're cheaper than pretty much all other pads (I've tried several). My son is 9 months & I still use them. After reading the bad reviews though, I think I can understand - I've never had leaking problems, though I produce plenty of milk. Like another poster, I also pump regularly. I can see how they'd show thru a regular bra - I have a sports bra type nursing bra so nothing shows thru. I technically don't need nursing pads at all anymore, but my nips are so sensitive now that I like having the pad between me and my bra (which is snug, due to its design). No adhesive on these, but the adhesive never worked for me anyway on others-just made the pad stick to other stuff. One note-one post said they weren't individually wrapped, but these are all wrapped in sealed plastic (2 to a pack), so are easy to take with you. They're comfy enough, but I also LOVE the Lasinoh nip cream, it's the BEST THING EVER. (also, using the cream makes your nips a bit sticky, so the pads keep me from sticking to my bra) So it all depends on what you need them for - a good basic cheap pad, they are. But if you need serious leakage protection, have a pretty thin nursing bra anyway, then these aren't for you.

Huge diameter - too big for me
By Mom of an angel :)Verified Reviewer from Eugene, OR on 7/12/2009
Pros:
Compact, Durable
Cons:
Big
Best Uses:
Breastfeeding
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

I got these because I have the Gerber reusable pads and LOVE them! These, not so much ... the diameter is HUGE and makes for a very bulky pad in your bra which can be seen through your shirt. Very uncomfortable and unattractive. I would love it if Gerber took a few millimeters off the diameter - then I think they would be great! Otherwise, unless you have very a large chest size (I am normally a B cup, right now about a B-C cup) then I would not recommend them.

Soaked through in five minutes
By KPVerified Reviewer from Northern NY on 7/5/2009
Cons:
Leaks, Messy, Not Durable
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

These are about half the price as the Lansinoh breast pads so I thought I'd give them a shot. While I was semi-engorged and waiting for my 5-week-old to wake up to feed, I used these for maybe five minutes before I felt leaking around them and down my shirt. I need a breast pad to use with these breast pads! Now I have to make a special trip to the store (very far away from me) for Lansinoh pads and hope I don't leak before then!

Fine for at home
By DSki from Nebraska on 6/29/2009
Pros:
Easy To Use
Cons:
Leaks, Not Durable
Best Uses:
Breastfeeding
Describe Yourself:
Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

I use these pads for at home because I go through them reather quickly and they are the most inexpensive ones I can find. However, for going out in public, I have a nicer and more expensive brand I use. I'd definatly recommend these if you don't leak much or stay at home, but always have a backup brand for outings.

Waste of money
By Russian MomVerified Reviewer from Palmdale, CA on 6/18/2009
Cons:
Not effective
Best Uses:
Trash can
Describe Yourself:
Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

I tried those only because I run out of my favorite Lansinoh breast pads. It is made for male breast, not for breast-feeding mom - it is flat. Even it is so thin, it is to stiff and you can see edges through bra and a shirt. It's not hygienic, it is not individually packed, so you cannot take them with you when on the go. I don't like it.

Comments about Gerber Ultra-Thin Nursing Pads - 60 pk:

These pads are horrible. They don't absorb a drop of fluid, don't contour to the breast, slip in the bra.... there is no redeeming quality about these. They shouldn't be sold, period.
