Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

We brought this product and the matching crib. When my husband was putting together the changing table one rail broke in half, and we had to have it repaired. Then another rail broke while putting it together. It looks nice, but the wood is really cheap. We don't think it will last.

Nice Product
By Michelle, will soon be the mom of two.Site Member from New Jersey on 5/12/2008

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

We bought this for our second child. We've assembled countess baby/child products and this was by far one of the simplest. The changer has a sturdy construction, is a nice size for our small nursery, and has an attractive finish.

Looks Great!
By Mindy, First Time MomSite Member from Michigan on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

My husband and I bought the Emily Changer in Honey Oak and it is just perfect. It is easy to put together and looks wonderful with our other furniture. The pad that comes with it is kind of skimpy, so I recommend a contoured pad with the same dimensions. Other than that, I love this product!

Works and Looks Great
By a motherSite Member from Los Angeles on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

As I am a first time parent, I had no idea if this would be the right changing table for me, but it turned out to be great. Not only is it elegant and looks great, but it has tons of room for everything. I got some baskets and store all of my necessities in the baskets below. The construction was easy and the table is very sturdy. I highly recommend it.

Nice design, Terrible manufacturing
By Mom of 2Site Member from WI on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

The directions are terrible illustrations instead of written directions. The table top is barely supported. I had to add supports (not incl.)just to make sure it was safe. This seemed reasonably priced at first but now after seeing it you get what you pay for and for 150.00,it's not much.

Nice and sturdy, but arms get caught in side
By Sandi, proud mommy of 2!!Site Member from Sunny Ft. Myers, FL on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

This table is really well made. It doesn't wobble around a bit. The shelves are a little thin, but not too thin that they can't hold anything you would need to put on them or a curious climbing child. The drawer is made of the same matterial, but again, your not storing bricks in it and it will hold anything you need to store in or on it with no problems. A reason I would not recommend this to anybody is because the rails that are meant to keep the child from rolling off the side leaves just enough room for baby to get their arms underneath and get caught. You then have to wiggle it out. A few times I have picked my daughter up from it and at the same time she would get her foot caught underneath of it. I eventually just had to lay a blanket over the whole top to keep her from sticking anything under the rails. Bottom line...beautiful table, good quality, but bad design.

Durable
By Cindie, mother of 3Site Member from Utah on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

One of the side rails split as I put it together, but the manufacturer sent a replacement one within the week. I have not had any problems since. It has lasted me through two babies now and it still looks new. The drawer still slides open easily. I find the drawer is perfect for stocking up on diapers and some desitin! It will definitely be durable and last.

Great Table
By Sammy's MommySite Member from Kirkland, WA on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

I have been using this table for 18 months and still love it. It is very sturdy and is holding up well. I did have a problem when we were first putting it together - one of the side pieces was split, but the company replaced it very quickly and it's been perfect ever since. I highly recommend it.

Poor quality
By CathySite Member from New Jersey on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

I bought this changer and very carefully put it together. The materials are very cheap and flimsy and I have to tighten the screws once a week or it starts to rock. Now that my baby is seven months old and very active I am concerned that it will not support her. I am moving overseas and I don't intend to take this changer with me. It was fairly expensive and a big disappointment. I am glad I didn't buy the matching crib.

Beautiful but.......
By expectant parentsSite Member from Brooklyn,NY on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

very appealing to look at. instructions to put together are lacking. the illustrations arent very good. wood cracked when i was fastening one of the rails. the storage space tops are a cheap peg board type wood. once together it is very nice and serves its purpose. pretty cherry color. would recommend to compare to others before making ultimate decision.

Nice changer
By Sarah, Rachel's momSite Member from Southeast Wisconsin on 11/1/2006

Comments about DaVinci Emily Changing Table - White:

I love my Emily Changer. We purchased it after looking in several stores. This changer was easy to put together, I did it by myself at 7 months pregnant. My only disappointment in this changer is the quality of the drawer. It just doesn't seem to want to slide in and out smoothly. My husband has tried tightening the screws, however nothing seems to work. So, the drawer is used for some small things I don't need all the time. My daughter is now 2 months old and I must say it was a wise investment.
