We bought a Britax Boulevard after hours of reading reviews to try to find the safest and most comfortable car seat. It IS expensive but it should be usable for several years since it converts to a booster. Many others raved about the comfort of the Britax seats and we have not been disappointed. On Thanksgiving, my 1 year old missed his afternoon nap and was kept up after his bedtime because of the holiday excitement. I anticipated listening to a lot of crying on the way home. Instead, he snuggled up in the seat with his blankey and slept all the way home. We are all so happy!

I went with this carseat because I did a ton of research and i found this is the safest one out there. I just wanted to do my part on keeping my child safe. I cant believe i was worried about it being to big and to bulky, I have a smaller car and it fits great, I feel like it is very safe. I was also nervous it would be hard to install and it was not at all. It was just like any other car seat. I didnt even need my husbands help :) My daughter loves it as well, She falls asleep and has slept up to 2 hours in it, I would buy this one again, it is worth the money and the only thing i would get different next time is a van.

We own two of these and have since our son left his infant carrier. We did a TON of research before buying this seat and settled on the fact that this is the best product on the market, regardless of price. My husband consistently remarks that it was the best purchase we made and he feels entirely comfortable with our "precious cargo" in that seat. With number two on the way, and the little guy at 4 1/2 we are buying Britax Frontier Boosters for the next seat. No question. Seat is difficult to clean, but otherwise we have LOVED it. Our guy is very slender, but we've never had a problem with fit.

I was SO excited about this seat, and SO disappointed. The crotch strap is only a few inches long, and is NOT adjustable in length... and sits right at crotch level of a 4 year old between thier legs, poking into hteir thighs. The hated it! My kids are not hefty - not skinny, but right around average for thier age. This seat is not going to be comfortable for older kids unless they are very very slender! (or don't mind holding their legs apart so the buckle doesn't dig into them!)

Also note that you cannot change the position of hte crotch strap on this seat like on some of hte other britax seats. I called britax and the rep said this was a common complaint. She said that the length of the crotch strap is the same on ALL Britax seats. Some Britax do have 3 placement slot options:the decathalon and one other model (sorry I forgot which). The Boulevard does NOT.

The seat is probably ok for kids under 3, but I haven't tried it yet with my babies.
I have been through the gamut buying car seats (4 to be exact!) for my oldest and decided that these were worth the money and I would NEVER need to buy a car seat again. WRONG!

My husband installed the seat very easily. I was worried about buying a new car seat when it was time to upgrade from the infant "bucket seat". My son loves it and he is very comfortable when riding in the car. My mind is at ease knowing he is safe in the car.

I am very happy with this car seat so far! My son has so much more room than in his infant car seat. The construction is great and the fabric is soft on his skin. Why doesn't every car seat have the super helpful little velcro tabs to hold the straps out of the way? It took awhile to get used to using them but now I use them without even thinking about it. I was reluctant to spend the money on this but the Britax brand has such a good safety rating and that is what sold me more than any other feature. I am using this car seat rear facing right now for my 24 lb. 8 month old son and he seems very comfortable in it. I was amazed at how easy it was to install in our 2005 Honda Pilot. The only negative I could see is the car seat does not have a cup holder but we typically don't eat or drink in the car so we haven't missed one so far.

This is our everyday permanent car seat. I love it because it comfortable and pretty easy to install. It is kind of large which makes it cumbersome to switch it back and forth from my car to my husband car. I love it because it is I feel the safest car seat money can buy. I also like the extensive varities of fabric designs you can choose from.

This is the best car seat ever!! I researched for weeks, it was a hard choice because it is expensive but I'm glad my husband & I decided to buy it!! My 6 month old is so comfortable in it...he can see everything out the window because it is so high!

I have a larger car, a dodge stratus, and my 2 and a half year old is our only child, so we don't have to fit multiple restraint systems in the car. We have the carseat in the middle of the backseat. I have never been in a car accident with this seat, but I have read reviews by people that have, and the child in this carseat is the one that gets hurt the least, if at all.
I feel very confident in this car seat; it is very sturdy and made of high quality materials.
I like that if I have a boy later, I can just purchase a different, less girly slip cover for the seat and reuse it.
The harness is very easy for me to use, compared to other ones that I have used, as well.
Well worth the money.
I never used a rear facing seat, as I bought when my daughter was one year old.

I love the safety features- it's the VOLVO of car seats- only issue is how hard it is to take the padding off to clean (I did however wash it in my FRONT loader on gentle and it came out perfect) so I have no regrets... would recommend a cover for it when you have a toddler

After a lot of research I decided to purchase this car set as a present on my son's first birthday! I cannot be more satisfied with my decision. This car seat provide the safety that I always wanted for my son. It's very comfortable, my son loves to ride on it and quickly falls asleep (something that was not usual in his old Graco car seat). The seat is plush and with a lot of security feature for parent's peace of mind. It's big, but fits in small cars but a bit tight. I loved and recommend it!

I love the seat. We have two kids and they are both in the Boulevard. When they nap, I love having the head rest wings. It really supports them. It is big, but it is easy to install, just a bit heavy! Overall, we are really happy with the seat and like it a lot.

We bought this prior to a 16 hour car ride and so thankful we did. Our daughter slept for the majority of the ride. When she slept her head did not fall forward it was very well supported. Getting her in and out is easy b/c the straps don't get in the way, the seat is high so she can see out the window, it's very easy to install. Our daughter is 8 months old and the seat is sitting rear facing. We have a ford escape and there is lots of room for front passenger and car seat behind.
