Comments about Fresh Baby Food Storage Trays:

I bought these trays to use for freezing primarily fruit and vegetable purees, and I also bought baby cubes, and these are by far better. I only wish I had more, but I already bought so may cubes. I don't make a lot of "meals," but if I did, I would use these for that purpose too. They are easy to clean. Only con is you have to run the tray under water and bend the tray upside down to get the food out, but I don't think that takes away from how easy these are to use and clean. Love them!

Comments about Fresh Baby Food Storage Trays:

These trays are very nice - they are dishwasher safe and have lids. However, the portions are NOT 1 oz. They are more like 0.60 oz each. If you don't care about exact portions, these are nice trays. I like having the smaller portions and more of them - I just know to thaw two portions per child (1.2 oz). These trays are a bit hard to get things out of - I had to twist quite a few times, run under hot water, and let them sit a bit to get even a few cubes out.

If you want exactly 1 oz. portions, get the BabySteps Freezer Trays. They are 1 oz. exactly, but each tray holds only 7 portions.

I bought this along with the Beaba Baby Cook, the two combined are fantastic when making your own baby food. You can mix and match different foods easily. I usually freeze the cubes then separate them into ziploc bags. When I need to make a meal for my son I just pick and choose from the freezer, thaw and start feeding. Easy speasy!

Can freezing baby food be any easier? I love using these trays because you can just pop out the cubes into plastic bags to fit in the freezer. Sure they are ice cube trays but what makes them great is they are super durable, the lids make it easy for stacking AND they are dishwasher safe! Really, for this full time working mother, these trays made life easier! I'm ordering 2 more!

The trays are so great, I just ordered two more! I feel safe using them since they are BPA free, and I love the fact that they have lids on them. I use my label maker to label the lid as to what is in the tray. Although they are a bit pricey, I am getting so much use out of them.

I used this to freeze breast milk thinking I would have an easy way to measure it back out when thawing, but they didn't hold 1 oz per cube like stated. But they are good as long as you don't try to use it as an accurate measuring tool.

Comments about Fresh Baby Food Storage Trays:

I used this product to make fresh food for my baby when he was just starting to eat. I would make a pot of hot cereal, freeze it into cubes, and then store the cubes in a zip-lock. Super convenient not only for me and my husband, but for our sitters as well. As my son grew, I would make more variety of foods at textures that were more dense. My son did not eat food out of jars that were full of preservatives and we saved a ton of money making our own food. This is what justified the high(ish) cost of this item.

Also, for those of you who have problems getting the cubes out of the tray- Let the tray sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes and then attempt to twist the cubes free. This worked very well for me.

Comments about Fresh Baby Food Storage Trays:

I love these trays! They're so easy to use! The size is great because you just use as many cubes as you need -- when they were smaller, I used one cube per baby, now we're up to two. It also freezes faster because you're portioning it into a small quantity (unlike the baby cubes, which are bigger). Food pops out easily -- I freeze, then pop everything into a ziplock and reuse the tray. I haven't had any problems with the food releasing -- I just twist the tray like you would to get ice cubes out. I also love that they are dishwasher safe. They're a little expensive, but you're saving money by making your own baby food in the long run, so . . . the ends justify the means.

These trays really are great at storing the food. The food is never freezer-burned and keeps its consistency. The cubes are a bit harder to get out than conventional ice trays but if you just stick a knife in the or something narrow in the corner it pops right out. I definitely suggest this product.

Releases food much easier than ice cube trays do! I froze mashed bananas in ice cube trays covered w/foil but wasted a lot bcuz I had to dig them out when it was time to store them in freezer bags! But no problem with these! I've also used them for breastmilk. I thaw it for cereal or put in a mesh feeder to chew like a popsicle (teething). Well made & lids stay on. Wish I'd bought 2 sets the 1st time--coming back for another. Suggested them to a friend who just bought a set. Love them!

I used these for both breast milk and food and they worked great! I have four trays, which are nice for making baby food and they stack perfectly in the freezer. Run warm water on the bottom while keeping the lid on before you pop them out and they easily slide out and into your freezer bags.
