Once you have tried this carrier you can not go back. It is easy to put on and adjust and so comfortable. I used it when our daughter was 2 months and am still using it at 14 months. I carried her all over several National Parks this summer, she loved it and so did my back and shoulders! You can not go wrong with this carrier, I promise you will use it.

They have a 2 pockets, but once the kiddo is in the carrier, it makes it difficult to get stuff in and out.
THIS IS SUCH A GREAT CARRIER!! the newborn can be a little more difficult because if you have a long size newborn, they tend to slip a little out the side, but still REALLY useful!! preferred it more when the infant was a little bigger and was able to face me with the legs on each side. The shade on it is so key, no hats to deal with, and a cover for the little one who wants to take a nap.

My husband and I are both larger people and we love this carrier. My husband is very tall and it works great for him too. We have tried other carriers, but they are not as comfortable. We recently went camping/hiking and my son lived in this carrier.

I never review products and felt I had to after using my ergo baby carrier today for the first time. My 7 week old daughter LOVED it and seemed much more comfortable in this than the baby bjorn. It is way easier to get her into and more comfortable to wear. I did my grocery shopping with her in it and she fell asleep instantly!!! My only regret is that this was not on my registry and I had to buy it myself but it is for sure money well spent.

I love this carrier. My son is 20 months old and 23lbs and I'm able to carry him in this. It doesn't strain my back and I'm able to do everything. I live in New York and need to take the bus and trains -this carrier is perfect for that!

I always get stopped when we're out and about with my dd in her ergo. It is so comfortable for both of us and so easy to wear. I've tried them all- mei tei, moby, baby bjorn, peanut shell, maya, and this is by far my favorite. I am using it with our second child now and she loves it as much as her sis, and so does my back! After a day-long flight last week with lots of airport down time, my back wasn't killing me and she (3 mos) was one happy camper. I love that you can use it like a purse, especially at the airport when you have to have your ID, boarding pass, burp cloth, and a spare diaper or two at the ready. I also love the ergo for its longevity-you can use it with an infant to a heavy toddler. My back needed me to stop when my first dd hit ~25lbs. but by then she could easily walk. It's a must-have for an on-the-go family.

Overall we are very happy with this item. Both my husband and I have back problems, yet desire to remain active with our child. We were elated to find a product with those two thoughts considered. Our infant falls asleep in it immediately! The two things we have been disappointed with were that the waistline strap is not a one size fits all. When I was pregnant and even post-partum, it did not fit me (and I'm an avg. sized person). As well,[...] DEFINITELY buy it here to save on shipping and to deal with professionals! We recommend the item overall.

I've tried over ten different carriers and none of them worked. My baby's on the bigger side and his thighs wouldn't fit through the leg whole or I couldn't get him in the sling comfortably. With the Ergo, there's no worry how chubby the baby gets... He loves it!!!

The thing I love the most about the Ergo is the lower back support. I have gone on two hour hikes, all over a museum, trekked through downtown Chicago with my 6-month-old son, and he has been very comfortable and my back doesn't hurt. As an added bonus, he loves to sleep in it! I love the zippered pocket on the front--it's perfect to hold my keys and a pacifier. This is definitely on my baby essentials list!

Just bought this for my 4 month old son and I love it!! The first time I used it I went shopping and he fell asleep in it! He was so comfortable and close to me that he fell asleep with in 5 minutes of being at the store. I have tried other carriers like the infantino and those suck!! they are horrible! I used it in the facing out position and he looked so uncomfortable. his back was arched and his legs almost turned purple from the seams of the legs...this has to be the best carrier. it is comfortable I cant even feel the weight of the baby!!I bought it because I saw a mom of 2 with itI thought it was amazing how her toddler was comfy in it and I had to have itthis is totally worth the [$]

I had had a large baby who grew very quickly and had bought two other expensive carriers. Both were highly rated and both hurt my back. A friend let me borrow this one to use in the airport. When the plane landed I called my husband and asked him to order one immediately. We've used it 2-3 times a week for the last 2 years. My son is now 2 1/2 and 37 pounds and I was able to carry him comfortably while 5 months pregnant! We are actually thinking of buying another one for the new baby since our toddler still loves his!
It was initially difficult to figure out how to strap him in, but once you get the hang of it it becomes much easier than other backpacks. We have recommended the Ergo to everyone we know with young children.
One added bonus is the cuddle time. My son is not much of a cuddler, especially with Daddy, but he loves snuggling up to him in the backpack.

I love this! I use it EVERY DAY! I used to have a bjorn. Hated it! What torture! Wearing your baby does not, let me repeat, DOES NOT HAVE TO BE TORTURE!!! Just get the Ergo! I also have a moby and love it too...but to wear your baby on your back and do chore is so liberating plus my daughter LOVES to be in on all the activities. Instant nap too!

THIS CARRIER IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! It has revolutionalized the way I take care of my baby. She's comfortable and so am I. I have tried others but this is the one! I know it's a little pricey but it's worth every cent. I can finally stop stressing about taking her places. It's suitable for grocery shopping to hiking, cleaning to go for a walk. I don't even use my other baby gear i.e. stroller, playpen, jumperoo, etc. This is what we prefer to use everyday all day long. I even put my 2.5 yr old in this just for giggles, and it still NEVER hurt my back, and I'm a small framed woman with big kids! I love it and I know you will too!

This carrier is amazing. Both my husband and I use this for everything including hiking, laundromat (we are urban), getting around the city, going through airport security, running in and out of stores, cooking, etc. We have used it since our baby was a newborn. She is 15 months and we are still using it. Other carriers get uncomfortable as the child grows but this one distributes the weight on your waist and that makes all the difference. This carrier is worth it's weight in gold!
