Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

The Moby wrap is amazing! My husband and I both, love it. It is perfect for parents of preemies who are not supposed to have their lil' ones out for a while. We were able to wear her out in public places and because she was wrapped so close to our bodies people did not try to touch her. The Moby is also a God-send for mothers who have more than one child... we always need our hands ready for those toddlers! Super easy to put on once you get the hang of it. There are some really helpful videos on YOUTUBE!! We wear our Moby daily!!!

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

I love, love, love this wrap read a few reviews about it before I purchased it bc I have a 5 month old and we do a lot of traveling. My husband and I bought an evenflow carrier before he was born and now that he is 15 lbs it is a bit too much on my back. Now that we purchased the moby wrap I can cook, clean and run errands without feeling any pain or discomfort :)Wish I would have bought this first before the other carrier.

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

I was hesitant to buy this because it looked overly complicated. After a few tries I had the hang of it, but still am unable to get it to feel secure enough with some of the holds. My daughter loves the wrap and can fall asleep in it for hours.
My biggest complaint is how ridiculously hot it is. I only got about a month of use out of it before it was too hot both indoors and out to use (only in the mid 70s here). My daughter and I were both sweating, so the wrap is pretty much useless in warmer climates. Highly disappointing because my daughter loved it.

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

I have been using my Moby since my daughter was 2 weeks old. I really think it is very easy to use, once you get the hang of it (took me a few times). My little girl is 6 months now & I still use this on a daily basis. I love the versatility of the wrap - you can carry on your front, your back, even turn it into a sling! I tried using a Baby Bjorn & hated it. Just recently purchased a Babyhawk Mei Tai & hated it. I will absolutely stick with my Moby.

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

I would love to use the Moby more, but set up is way too time consuming! By the time I have it on my body correctly, the baby is screaming. She does calm down though once she is placed in the wrap, and that is why I gave it three stars, along with the fact that it is so much more comfy than a Snugli. Another con: if you have to put it on anywhere but at home you risk it getting all germy and dirty because it WILL drag all over the floor/ground as you wrap it.

I recieved my moby as a gift for my second child. I love this! It is very comfortable for me and my son. He even smiles when he sees me putting it on. Great for the grocery store, park, home. It keeps my hands free for keeping up with my 4 yr old too.

I just received my Moby Wrap, never used one before, I opened it up out of the package and right away I was able to wrap it just like the instructions showed, very very easy and very comfortable! Can't wait for my baby girl to wake up from her nap so we can try it out together.

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

If you're interested in baby wearing, the Moby wrap is the way to go. I have had one since my son was 6 weeks and now he is 7 months and we still use it. I have a Bjorn, and while it's good for my husband, I can't wear it for more than 10 minutes without my shoulders hurting. I tried a sling, but returned because of how uncomfortable my son looked in it- His chin was touching his chest and that is so dangerous! The Moby is perfect for newborns, especially the ones who will only sleep on mom's chest! It allows you to get stuff done while keeping baby comfy. It's also perfect for errands to the grocery store or anywhere else. Put it on before you get in the car and you're off! I hate carrying the baby carrier- it's so much easy to take him out of it and put him in the Moby. Yes, it's a little cumbersome to wrap around the body, but it's so worth it not to have the back and shoulder pain. My son loves it too! It also keeps strangers from touching your baby when you're out shopping.

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

I use the Moby wrap when I am going someplace where I would have to carry my son for long times. Festivals, fairs, mall trips if I'm not trying on clothes. I've used several different "holds" with the moby wrap and my son has been comfortable in most of them. He likes the wrap! It is hard to put on just because of it's shear volume, but I put up with it because it is so much more comfortable on my shoulders, back, and baby.

BEWARE OF THE CHOCOLATE BROWN THOUGH. It is a beautiful colour but many people will say you look like Obi Wan Kenobi or some other Jedi.

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

I was excited to use the Moby since it seemed so simple, versatile, and inexpensive compared to front-pack carriers. The fabric is soft and of high quality. However, once I tried to actually use it, it was a hassle to put on, even after a lot of practice. The 12-foot strip of fabric was awkward to fold correctly and the ends would drag on the ground (would get dirty if attempted outdoors). I would be willing to put up with this, though, if my baby liked it. Baby hated being in there. I tried various different holds from 0 to 3 months, and she always fussed and writhed. Baby was much happier in the Bjorn (as a newborn) and the Ergo (once she got too heavy to use the Bjorn regularly). I've found that the Ergo is almost as versatile as the Moby and a lot easier to use (albeit much more expensive). Sadly I ended up selling my Moby!

Dads, TRUST ME, never let your wife make you wear this thing!! Oh yeah, my wife and one month old son hated it too.

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

I absolutely love the Mobywrap!!!!! My daughter had really, really bad colic from the moment she came home from the hospital! The Mobywrap was the only thing that worked/soothed her. And we tried everything anyone recommended. She only wanted to be on my chest listening to my heartbeat. I would put her in it and just wear her around. It gave her that safe, in the womb still feeling. I NEVER left home without it. I would wear it around the house, to run errands, grocery shopping, you name it I had her in the wrap for it. It is great for keeping strangers from touching your newborn too!! Especially during flu season. A little intimidating at first, but really easy to master with the directions. I cannot recommend this product enough. A friend of mine used it for her daughter whom had colic and it was the only thing that soothed her as well!!!! Plus you just toss it in the washer when it gets dirty or spit up on. I have the Baby Bjorn as well and like my Mobywrap better. It keeps the baby closer to your body and puts less strain on your back. Plus it is like 7 different baby carriers all in one, and half the price!!! I hope you like it as much as I do.

I tried slings and own a bjorn carrier. It took me about 6 weeks to finally find this wrap and try it out. It's intimidating at first, but I tested the wrap on a stuffed animal numerous times until I felt comfortable using it on my son. It's very comfortable to wear. It's an ingenius design, using the weight of the baby to secure him in the wrap. I wish I had known about this sooner and used it right from the start. My son doesn't like having his head restricted, so I can only cover his head for support once he's fallen asleep. The only drawback of buying the darker colors is they show the drool and the spit up.

Comments about Moby Wrap - Moss:

This has got to be the most comfy carrier on the market. My mom was a little leery at first, but she "wore" my son in the hospital, and they both loved it! I wear him every day for errands, walks and housework, even sometimes while just sitting on the computer. Uncle Joe wears him to Best Buy to check out the TVs, Daddy wears him to play Wii, even my son's Godparents wear him for convenience or just for cuddles. He sleeps very well in the wrap, and during flu season it keeps people from touching him.
We suggest buying it and trying it with a teddy or a doll first to gain confidence. My cats loved to be carried in it, too. Wrap someone else to help yourself learn to wrap better, and check out the videos on YouTube
