These cabinet locks are great. Reading the other reviews here is laughable because these are so easy to use for adults. Some say they are hard to open, Not at all. If you have odd shaped cabinets or can't drill into your cabinets I recommend these.

Seems like a great idea, but it is poorly executed. It is very difficult for an adult to open as the instructions describe at first. Then with repeated usage it doesn't even take a very hard tug for it to come apart on its own. The old-fashioned push and latch made by the same company (that mount with a few simple screws on the inside) are so much more effective.

When my daughter was born, my husband tried to install latches inside our kitchen cabinets... the cabinet wood and veneer were too hard for the screws to go through. Then we tried the slide-style removable locks. The knob width was too far apart for them to lock securely. I ended up using rubber bands.

When we moved into our apartment and my son proved more curious than his sister, I decided to try these locks. They are perfect! A tad difficult to use (I have to use 2 hands in order to unlock it), but he is a very active 15 month old and so far not coordinated enough to get these undone.

Neither my husband nor I could get these open easily even when following the instructions, once they are locked onto the door handles it becomes even more difficult.

This product works well for our cabinets. We had trouble with some other brands not fitting around the knobs, but this one fits securely.

We used these for a couple of months before our daughter turned 1. They seemed fine, but then again she only really showed an interest in opening them this past month (she's 13 mos. now). She just opens and tugs on the door and SNAP, they open.

My 1 and 3 year old sons broke through 3 of these in just a few short months. The top plastic loop part that attaches to the main base of it simply broke off on each of them. These are not child proof at all!

This product is great if you use it right. It works well for cabinets that don't have close knobs (like all of mine). It was VERY hard for me to use at first and I was ready to throw in the towel until I figured out how to use them best - You should press the gray button in FIRST, then press the green diamond in to release. If you try to press them at the same time, you will have a hard time for sure. Now that I know how to use them, I can say with certainty that they work way better than any others I've tried. And they adjust really easily too, unlike most others.

because of the adjustable loops that go on the cabinet knobs we are able to secure drawers and cabinets whose knobs aren't right next to each other. The person who said she had to remove her cabinet knobs to get these off didn't figure out how to release the loops.....it's easy to do once you find the releases

I tried to use this on our new entertainment center. Although, it worked better then the 2 products I tried before, this was very hard to open the way you are supposed too. However, my 2 year old, (who was the one I was trying to keep out) was able to grab the handles and still open the doors with a good hard pull.

These are nearly impossible for an adult to release. I had to unscrew my cabinet knobs to get it off.
