My daughter needs her pacifier all the time. This is the only paci she likes. The pros: one-piece design means less germs. Soft enough even for a newborn (watch the recomended age on the packaging other wise you'll end up with super soothie, a teething pacifier ones) I gave it 4 stars because of these cons: made from some kind of latex free rubber so it's staticky, attract hairs, lints and dust so we need to wash it often. It also falls out from my baby's mouth all the time, so you'll need pacifier holder/clip. Or like me, you can buy WubbaNub, the same pacifier with stuff animal attached so it's easier for the baby to hold or find.

These pacifiers saved my sanity. My newborn would not take any other pacifier and would only stop crying if she sucked on my finger. It was driving me crazy! Another mom suggested these after I got tired of buying new kinds of pacifiers that she spit right out. To my amazement, she took to the soothie right away and it comforts her enough to calm down. I love the one-piece design and as she has gotten older, she just holds onto it and chews on it to teethe rather than sucking on it. We do not go anywhere without at least 2 of these.

This is the pacifier they gave to our daughter at the hospital. I have tried 4 other types, looking for something that has a curved aspect so it will stay in her mouth, but this is the only she will actually suck on! So, I definitely like this pacifier, but I wish it was curved a little because I think it may help her to keep a hold on it.

My daughter loves these I had bought a bunch of differant pacifiers for her but she only likes her soothies they fit perfectly in her mouth and it gives my breasts a break when she wants something just to suck on. A must buy for any newborn

I received these as a shower gift, they are great! We started using them a few days after we got home from the hospital and my little boy loves them. It calms him and comforts him before each nap. The little face on them is adorable and everyone laughs looking inside the binkie when he is sucking on it, I must admit it is funny to watch. The only bad thing is that we have cats and dogs and their hair is always stuck on the binkie. We are constantly rinsing it off b/c the static between the hair and the rubber.

I went out and bought a pack of these before my son was born knowing that we gave them to the newborns at the teaching hospital where I went to nursing school. He took it right away, and went easily between it and the breast with no nipple confusion. I waited till he was 3 weeks old to give it to him. It does look weird, but the soft plastic makes up for it. I put a ribbon through the side holes to help keep track of it, otherwise is very easily lost.

I love this pacifier. I'm on my 5th child and this is my favorite binky we've used so far. They gave it to my daughter in the hospital. I think it's the ugliest thing in the world...but she loves it! She was a preemie and has always been attached to her soothie since day one. She has no problem breastfeeding either...no nipple confusion. My daughter's dr. likes it the best because it is one piece therefore the most sanitary. There are no crevices for dirt and germs to get trapped in. As for putting a tether on it...I just stick it through one of the holes.

Our baby boy came home from the hospital with this pacifier and we knew that we had to have one handy at all times ... he loves it! He's now 8 months old and he uses to soothe himself and teethe.

My husband and I researched pacifiers before our daughter was born. It's great for babies that will nurse (no nipple confusion), BPA free, and hospitals use them too. Worked great for us.

We bought several pacifiers before my daughter was born. We took them to the hospital with us, and she wouldn't take any of them. The hospital gave us this one, and it's the only one she'll use. I am also breastfeeding, and this pacifier doesn't seem to cause any "nipple confusion" with her.

My daughter only takes this pacifier, and believe me, I've tried getting her to suck on the cuter ones but this is the only one she'll take. My biggest problem with the soothie is that there is no place to attach a pacifier clip to keep it close to her and to prevent it from getting lost. I ended up making a small hole in that little square that sticks out of the soothie and I now can thread my pacifier clip through there. It works well and baby and mom are both happy!
