My daughter never gets diaper rash but did one time because she had bad diarrhea. I had to change her as soon as she peed because she would cry, I tried everything on her all the other creams even tried water to cool the burn. Last of all I tried this cream, she did not cry as I put it on and I got no more complaints from her about her bottom hurting!

My daughter once had a HORRIBLE rash. She had a reaction to a certian brand of diapers. I tried EVERYTHING. Butt Paste, Destin, Pink Sauve, and others. She got so raw she was getting bloody. I was scared to change her dipear it was so bad. Then while at [...] I asked a pharmicist what i should do. She recommend this product and it cleared up thr bloody rash completly with in 2 days. I say results after the first diper change. This product is amazing and is a must have for any parent. It also has other uses besides for dipear rash. In my home we use this instead of Neospprian as well. It much less inexpensive. Its just an all around wonderful product.

This is what most people think of for Vitamin A and D ointment. I find the smell overwhelming and after a while it is offensive. I prefer the scentless A&D called Fougera

I tried this product because nothing else was working. It was too creamy the product was everywhere else but my kids bottoms.

I found that any cream containing zinc oxide stings when my babies' bums are the slightest bit red or irritated (try putting a little zinc oxide anywhere on yourself when you are slightly chaffed and you will feel the bite! ouch!) But I found that this is great for daily use and protection from wettness. however, when diaper rash breaks out in full force, I recommend putting this on first and THEN a zinc oxide cream over it. This will prevent stinging, but the zinc oxide will help heal the diaper rash better!

My 18 months son allergic to his urine and doctor recommended Benadril cream to help the icth and also A+D to preven his weeny rubs again the wet diaper. So after I put the benadril, I put A+D on top of it and it works. He's not scratching as often and no more rash.

Absolutely the best diaper rash ointment. I will never use anything else again -- but make sure you get the ointment and not the creme. Ointment goes on smoothly and easily. Sooo much better than any of the many cremes I've tried. My kids have sensitive skin and they feel better almost immediately. It's a great, dependable product. Highly recommend!

My 5 month old had a bad diaper rash after a course of antibiotics. Desitin burned her... every time I put it on, she'd scream. Apparently it was the zinc oxide. Zinc seems to be great for preventing d-rash but burns when its put on an actual rash. A+D worked quickly and was very gentle. I just bought several more tubes to use!

Throw out any other diaper/rash creams you might have. True story from this weekend: my 15-month old son was terribly irritated after a bout of "watery stool" to the point of crying in pain by the 7th time I had to change his pamper that day. The first thing I grabbed was one of those zinc oxide creams - poor thing screamed his head off like I've never seen him before. I ran to the sink, washed him up (still crying), finally found the A&D I had in an old diaper bag and applied it gently all over his irritated skin. After a while he calmed down - next time I changed his pamper, he didn't even flinch. By the morning, his skin was completely back to normal. I will never use anything else on my kids.

i love a and d is is the best by far and i have tried everything it does not have a harse sent it cleans up diaper rash super super fast without any irratation like desitin and available in everyway u like like thinner or creamy and even foam no complaints what so ever (((also good for breastfeeding moms if u know what i mean))))

As a mother of a 5, 3 and 1 year old, I have had this in my diaper bag for 5 years. I have tried other brands and none of them work as or better than A&D. It's GREAT. It gets rid of rashs and irrations in less then a day. My brother uses Balmex and I really don't like it. It takes forever for his son to get rid of his rash. When they come over I use my A&D on his son and its cleared up by the time they pick him up.

My mom recommended this to me because it is what she used on us. I had seen my sister trying to combat her sons diaper rashes with a zinc based cream and it seemed to take forever to get rid of a simple rash. I used it on my son from the beginning and was supprised when my pediatrician even said that that is the only ointment she recommends. My sons rashes, not only on his bottom but from drool and other skin irritations all over his body, would clear up in a matter of hours or over night, not days, with this ointment. When my brother in law saw how effective it was on my son he insisted that they use it on their children. I even use it on myself when I have patches of dry skin from wind burn or other irritations for an over night treatment. It's a great product.
