My son is 14 months and loves to use his fork. May of the baby utensils that focus on a safe design are actually very hard to use to pick up food. These are a nice size for him and are very functional. I imagine he will be able to use these for a long time.

I bought this for my 3 year old to learn how to use a knife and feel like she was safe doing it. She loves having her 'own silverware set' and I love seeing her attempt to help herself on her own plate. I had to end up getting another one b/c my 1 year old has taken a liking to only wanting to eat out of metal utensils instead of plastic. Love this set and would recommend to anyone, I also wish you could choose the color. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is b/c the fork doesn't always 'stab' well & with the 3 yr old it's annoying but w/ the 1 year old, it's ideal. :) Great size for both ages.

Tried many different brands of toddler utensils, & these are by far the best. Ergonomic handles, spoon that is neither too deep nor too shallow, fork that's neither too blunt nor too sharp. Haven't used knife yet. Wish ordering was WYSIWYG as far as color's concerned, but it's also kinda silly that colors have been assigned a gender, anyway.

I REALLY LOVE THIS SET. I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD AND IT IS VERY EASY FOR HIM TO USE. I HAVE ALOT OF FORKS AND SPOONS FOR TODDLERS AND THIS IS THE BEST.I AGREE WITH THE OTHER PERSON WHO SAID.. I WOULD GIVE IT ANOTHER STAR IF I COULD PICK THE COLOR.

I would give this more stars if I received a gender-neutral color for my son. They shipped a pink & purple set of utensils, as you cannot choose colors on this product. My son LOVED them, but my husband wouldn't let him keep them because they looked too girly. If you have a girl, go ahead and get these; they are pretty nice otherwise.

I bought these to replace our plastic spoons and forks.

My 5 yr. old still uses them. My 3 yr. old uses them. My 6 & 8 yr. old won't have anything to do with them!
So you'll get at least 5 years of use with each kid when using these!

The knife really cuts.
The handle does not stain.
Very durable.
Stainless is better with soup or hot dishes (if you're worried about plastics).

I know these will last a lot longer than my kids will end up using them.

My son sees us using knives when we eat and wants one for himself. This one is perfect since it allows him to cut his food in a safe manner. Plus the slightly larger utensils are well suited to his toddler size hands. It is hard to find kiddie knives so stock up on a few!

These are the only utensils my twins like to use. They get bummed when the forks are in the dishwasher and they have to use the plastic kind instead.

It's great for my daughter, plastic forks that are hard to stab with frustrate her, but she seems to have no problems using this product.

My son is 19 months old and he uses both the spoon and fork to eat his meals with. I haven't given him the knife to use yet, he is still too young. They are easy for his hands to hold and to feed himself with.
