Comments about Safety 1st Go-Hybrid Booster Car Seat- Baton Rouge:

We have owned this seat for several months now. I don't know how we would be able to get by without this seat. Living in the city, we do not own a car; we take public transportation, rent cars by the hour or take a cab when necessary (doctors appointments, ER, trip to the burbs, etc) It truly installs in less than a minute (and a very tight fit) which is crucial when getting in and out of cabs. It does require a top anchor but, I have yet to hop in a cab without one. This seat comes in a fairly nice travel bag with an adjustable shoulder strap. I just hang the strap on back of my Maclaren Quest; my sons weight counters the weight of the diaper bag and mere 9 lbs of this seat.

My only gripe would be that my son suffers from motion sickness and this seat sits very low. He cannot see over the front seat so he looks out the windows and frequently gets sick (I also have the same problem in cabs though since the seats are so high). I've machine washed the cover with no issues.

The price is a bit steep for what you get but, it is the only option for us given its weight and portability (trust me - I've looked). If you own a car - you can find a car seat with more of a recline and a place to put their head to sleep at a lower price. I would recommend this as a must have item to any city dweller without a car or even frequent travelers.
