Comments about Safety 1st Go-Hybrid Booster Car Seat - Waterloo:

I have used an older version of this product and wanted to add comments based on the other comments left. We chose this seat awhile ago as a safe choice for our child who grew out of her toddler seat. I was concerned about using a regular car seat belt with the booster after hearing concerns about children not being fully restrained in an accident. This seat is a great option for a booster that provides a 5 point harness. I like it for the toddler age and up, though it can be used for small children, too. This is also a great seat to travel with as it folds up so small!

My daughter is able to buckle herself and we will continue to use this until she grows out of the car seat.

The only downside is if your child falls asleep it doesn't really provide head support.

Bought this to take along for travel and such, but it is so uncomfortable. My daughter cries and cries in it.

Comments about Safety 1st Go-Hybrid Booster Car Seat - Waterloo:

This is a really different seat. Like the other reviewer mentioned, I was not expecting it to be totally soft on the back, and was discouraged at first. Once I got it all LATCHed down I found it to be quite nice. It has 2 latches at the bottom and one that goes over the back seat. My son really likes it...he still thinks it is a big boy seat because it sits more like a booster. It is light weight and not bulky but feels totally just as safe as the big bulky one we bought it to replace. WE CAN FIT 3 CAR SEATS ACCROSS in our small car! Which is why we bought this. The only real bummer is the fabric seems to snag really easily.

Comments about Safety 1st Go-Hybrid Booster Car Seat - Waterloo:

This is a great concept, however, the website, picture and description give you no indication as to how this seat installs in your vehicle. They forget to mention that the seat will only go into your vehicle if you have tether anchors, which new vehicles do, but not older models. The middle section of this seat is completely soft and is not sturdy like most booster seats. It does not stand up on it's own like a graco, therefore, you must hook it into your vehicle before you can adjust the straps for your child, otherwise it just collapses. I have to say that if you do have tether anchors, it really is a neat seat. It is similar in size to a regular booster seat and is very light! I am pleased with the seat, but was just surprised when it came in and did not have a sturdy back. It definately seems safe and installs very easily as long as you have a tether!
