Great absorbancy and soft feel

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

I use these diapers on my 14 month old and have used them since she was 6 months old. We use gDiapers but find it's nice to have disposables for traveling and for overnight. These are great for keeping messes contained and are highly absorbant for nighttime. They aren't made of plastic and I feel good about throwing these biodegradable diapers in the trash.

Love NBC diapers, also wipes...

Slightly bulkier new dsgn

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

We've used NBC diapers since day 1 and have only used another brand when we're out, which has been on rare occasions (traveling).
I love everything about this diaper and don't understand others' issues; If I had 1 complaint, it would be that the new design seems to have slightly more material around the bottom, which makes it sort of challenging to dress baby...but not too. However, anyone really have a problem with more cushion for baby's butt?
When deciding on a diaper (via ratings) one must consider that many have not been taught to properly fit a diaper in the first place, especially new parents.
We've traveled a lot with our baby where 2 or more pee-pee's are stored up without losing a drop!

The new design is NOT working

After using this diaper for nearly two years, the design has changed. I was completely thrilled with the original diaper & had recommended it to many. Now, the tabs are not the same, I cannot even fasten a size 4 diaper onto my 25 lb. toddler. It falls off. I will try the size 5, but if this doesn't do the trick I am onto another brand.

I really like these diapers but they are very thick because they use cotton to asorb. I did find them smaller in sizes 1-3 then other diapers but not so much now that my son is in size 4. I have never experienced any leaks. The only complaint I have is that because they are bulkier clothes don't tend to fit as well if they are snug fitting clothes with snaps in the crotch area.

Please bring back the old design

These diapers were GREAT before but a redesign has made them narrower, less absorbent and difficult to keep fastened. I put a G diaper shell over them to keep them from falling off now. I'm going to try again with a bigger size and try the trainer pants but I'm afraid my perfect diaper may be gone :-(

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

This diaper has a horrible texture. The tabs are very unstretchable. The fit all togeather isn't to grand. Left read marks on my son. This was the first diaper I used. I decided to try out all the other chlorine free diapers since I wasn't very satisfied with these. I totally fell in love with another brand. Just to make sure I got another pack of these a size up and they still have an awkward fit. I really wanted to love these! They hold in poop and pee pretty well. I just can't stand the texture and fit.

I'm so disappointed in these diapers! We switched to them 1 1/2 years ago after Seventh Generation redesigned their diapers and absolutely fell in love. The diapers never leaked, fit great and were so easy to use! The only draw back was that you couldn't bundle them for disposing, but it wasn't a big deal. With the redesign, it seems as if they've gone the down the same path as Seventh Gen - the tabs are bigger (and honestly - I loved the old tabs, very stretchy and never scratchy), but the diapers are WAY narrower. My son is at 28 pounds and previously fit into the size 4 comfortably. Now, we basically need to move up to 5 to get them to close comfortably. We've also experienced 3 leaks in just a week of using them. If this design is permanent, I won't be ordering them again. Bring back the old style please!

Diapers are stiff, the velcor thingie keeps coming off, so no matter what my daughter ends up having accidents with a diaper on!!!! Too pricey for that sort of thing to happen. Will not buy again.

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

After reading the reviews, I decided to go with the next size up and I'm glad that I did. My son is usually a 4 so I got a 5. The are just right around the waist but a little bulky in the crotch, but he doesn't seem to mind. We usually use gdiapers but he is in between sizes and he leaks every change. I have tried pampers and he gots horrible rashes. I wanted to continue to be eco-friendly so I was looking for an absorbant diaper that was biodegradable. These are great not one leak yet and he's a wetter. So far no rashes so I will continue to use these and see how it goes. I don't understand why they are not more widely made since the knowlege is out there.

New redesign ruined these diapers
By Daughter's Diapers left in dustVerified Reviewer from NYC on 9/12/2009
Cons:
Leak, Messy, Poor Fit, Stiff, Tabs come undone, Uncomfortable
Describe Yourself:
Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

It appears that they have redesigned this product to deal with the rough tab issue. Now the tabs are softer and more stretchy, but unfortunately, we simply cannot seem to make them stick! The square edged, scratchy tabs at least held. But now the rounded tabs come undone as soon as my baby gets down to crawl. We've been using these diapers since she was born (for 10 months!) and we're so sad to have to stop using them, but by the fifth diaper that got left on the floor by the end of this day as the baby crawled by, my husband said "that is it!" she peed on the couch when we weren't looking because the diaper had come undone on one side- another day, the diaper came undone and snuck down one leg of her pants while she crawled across the room- I could go on and on. I'm sad to have to say goodbye, but as my husband said, "this is it!"

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

I have used these diapers for my 9 month old son for many months and was very pleased until I re-ordered a case of size 4, and to my surprise they do not fit! We compared the "old" size 4 diapers that we had left from our previous order and they are now made about a size smaller, even though the package is labeled size 4! Needless to say, we are very disappointed. I guess the redesign also included a reduction in the overall size of the diaper. I also noticed that the new, redesigned tabs come undone. I had to go to a retail store to buy Earth's Best and now Huggies, even though it upsets me to use a non-biodegradable diaper. We need a diaper that doesn't come undone!

Too Small...For Skinny Babies Only
By First Time MomVerified Reviewer from Edmonds, WA on 9/2/2009
Pros:
Soft
Cons:
Poor Fit, Stiff, Uncomfortable
Best Uses:
Infants
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

This diaper would be fine if I had a skinny baby. I really wanted to try a "green" diaper and thought this would be the best after some research. I ordered the size two when my son was 6 weeks old. I still had a few packages of pampers left so at 8 weeks I tried one...it fit, but barely and the tabs were not stretchy at all. I decided to return them as the higher up in size you get the lower quantity and I can get a higher quantity in other brands for way less. They didn't leak, however, as the one diaper my baby tried he pooped in and it was fine. They also seemed soft. However, they need to make the tabs stretchier to fit chubbier babies.

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these diapers. I have been using them since my daughter was about 3 months old and she has never gotten a rash from them. We switched to a major brand once when we ran out and she got a bad rash. It went away when we switched back. We have only had 3 leaks in the 16 months we have used them. They are a little bit stiff but soften up after 5 minutes of wear, it doesn't bother my daughter. I wish they had newborn size for the baby on the way!

Sooo much better than 7th Generation

Best Uses:
Infants, Newborn

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers:

Awesome diaper. Using cloth almost exclusively but wanted something for nighttime so we wouldn't have to change the baby at night as often. Sis-in-law gave us some to try when we ran out of cloth and I was super impressed. Tried 7th Gen previously and it almost always leaked and the cloth was really papery and seemed uncomfortable. These diapers are soft, super-absorbant and of course their relative eco-friendliness is great. Would totally recommend it to anyone.
