SADLY disappointing

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - 4 pk:

After much research and many recommendations, we were sadly disappointed to find these diapers do not fit well (we purchased a size 2 for our 11 pound, 23 inch baby and they are almost too small!). More importantly, they leak! We've had multiple blow outs in 48 hours. We were given and had previously used Pampers swaddlers, Huggies Pure & Natural and 7th Generation. These are the first we've had serious issue with and the only brand we bought in a size 2! Please redesign so we can support a more environmentally conscious brand!!

These are the best diapers I've used

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - 4 pk:

I've used pretty much every kind of diaper out there, including cloth all-in-ones, regular cloth diapers with covers, regular disposables (Huggies, Pampers, etc.), Seventh Generation and gDiapers. I had mostly good experiences with all of them, but my kids are prone to diaper rashes (I have a 19 month old and a 3 yr old) and I want to be as environmentally friendly as possible. These diapers really make it work for all of us. I compost them in the city compost if they're just wet and flush the no. 2s down and then toss the diapers in the Dekor diaper pail with biodegradable bags. It works well. The improvements recently made on the diapers do make them soft and snug. They are far more leak-proof than Seventh Generation diapers and WAY more environmentally friendly, for about the same price. If you've tried them before and didn't like them because they're stiff or whatnot, give them a try again. Improvements have been made and they are soft and more like "normal" diapers now. I don't know if Diapers.com has used up all of the old versions in all sizes because occasionally when I order size 4 I still get the old, stiff version of the diaper, but every time I order size 5 they are soft.

I got dragged by the packaging, shopping at [...] when I was expecting and I care for diapers that are eco-friendly so I bought one package to try them out. When my baby was born, [...]stopped selling the diapers and I am so HAPPY I can buy them here at diapers.comI haven't tried any other brand but I love these. They are great and I love that I am doing something good for the environment.

The best "Earth friendly" diapers
By AKVerified Reviewer from Northeast PA on 1/30/2010
Pros:
Adjustable Fit, Free of dyes fragrances, Highly Absorbent, No chlorine bleaching, Snug Fit
Cons:
Stiff
Best Uses:
Infants
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - 4 pk:

In the interest of doing our part to help support the environment, yet also using disposable diapers, we tried various brands that were not bleached with chlorine or contained lots of dyes/perfumes. These are by far the best we've found! They have been comfortable for our son since he was 3 months old (now 7 months)and have never leaked. (Although we use other, "overnight" diapers at night.) They are not quite as soft and flexible as the traditional types of diapers, but they are perfectly fine and make us feel a little better about throwing away all those diapers!

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - 4 pk:

These should be great diapers: we used them in the UK for our first born (now 3), but tried finding other brands when she reached a certain size as they weren't comfy and fasteners (the non biodeg bit) started cutting into the top of her thighs. But they are pretty natural and not full of suspect chemical gels [found in the most popular brands], so we played around with bigger sizes and felt we had to compromise somewhere. We also haven't had too many leakage issues, despite the apparent poor fit around the waist.

Cut forward to end of 2009 and were in UK and found Nature have a much improved version - much more conformal shape and far softer. So for our second-born we were delighted when we found them here in the US... but these are the Mk 1 design, which are pretty poor in comparison. So we're actually a bit disappointed to have to go backwards.

So we really hope that the improved version hits these shores soon (I would rate the Mk 2 version 5/5). I would only cautiously recommend the current US version. There are softer, gentler brands currently available in the US (eg, Huggies Organic), but they are not biodegradable, so you have to decide what's important.

I like them

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - 4 pk:

These diapers have worked well for us. The only drawback so far is that I have to make sure the tissue paper is adjusted properly under the tabs so they don't rub on my son's skin. It would have been nice to have a "newborn" size available. It's nice to be able to use something better for the environment.

I couldn't love these diapers more! After learning more about the chemicals used in conventional diapers, I looked for an alternative. We started with 7th Gen diapers but their sizing was off so my little guy was quickly in size 4s (which, of course, have fewer diapers per package). I couldn't have been more excited to find Nature Babycare. The sizing is spot on, the diapers are soft and comfortable (it does take a trick to discarding a soiled diaper - the tabs don't stick to the other parts of the diaper, but they do stick to each other). Plus, they really do biodegrade. Somehow, a diaper ended up in my washer and all that remained was a glob of gel. Winner all around!

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - 4 pk:

I started using these diapers with the family I used to nanny for, and then again when my daughter was 3 months old. I liked them back then, but wanted to try G Diapers and Bum Genius first. I defintely needed the convenience of disposables in the end so I started the perfect disposable search. I tried every "green" and "regular" diaper around and I have to say I keep coming back to these. I tried seventh generation for a while, but I kept getting leaks! I RARELY get a leak with these diapers, they cleared up my daughters diaper rash, and I compost them. The Triple Crown![...]. I am back in love with them :)I do wish that they front of the diaper was a little bit wider (like huggies and pampers are) however it doesn't seem to affect the absorbability at all so perhaps it's just what I am used to. I do size up- but my baby has a big belly to accomodate.Bottom line: they aren't perfect YET. But I believe they are the best so far and will continue to get better in the future. [...]

These diapers were awful they are like sand paper on the outside and they are a thick rectangle shape with no curves. The tabs irritate my babys skin and the fabric is so thick that she cant put her legs togather at all.

I always wanted to use cloth diapers because I didn't want to add to landfills. But when I found out about these diapers I was delighted, convenient and environment-friendly. If that isn't enough the diapers are as good as conventional diapers. They are very absorbent, they fit well, and my daughter has never had any diaper rash. Yes they are a little stiff, I just add extra lotion around her legs and tummy if they look red. I love there diapers!

LOVE THIS PRODUCTS!!

I Love this product!! I love that it's earth friendly and high performing. My baby is a year old, I've used the diapers since she was born and not once have they leaked overnight (can't say the same for the more popular brands). I wish I had known about this company when my older children were infants. I also use their wipes because they don't irritate my baby's skin (unlike the more popular brands).

The fact that the company doesn't advertise but instead invests those dollars in improving their products speaks for itself.

With so many products out there it is hard to chose, all I can say is give this company a shot and I know you'll be pleased.

Excellent disposables. Just as absorbent as Huggies supreme at a similar price. I do gdiapers during the day and do these at night and on the go. The never leak! Beware or "partially biodegradable diapers" like 7th Gen. These are really fully biodegradable.

We've been using these with our 20 month old son for over a year. We used pampers in the beginning since we were given TONS of them. We've also used Huggies, Luvs, and other generic brands when we couldn't find these or were away on vacation. These work just as well as the other brands. No leaks, great fit, adorable little green leaves. Best of all they are good for him and the environment! We do use a different overnight diaper since our son sleeps a good 12 hours at night. NONE of the regular diapers have proven leak proof for us that long.

Comments about Nature babycare Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - 4 pk:

These are the best eco-friendly diapers I have found. They are SUPER absorbent. My son is now 18mos and we have been using them since he was an infant (he has very sensitive skin and this was the only diaper that I found that didn't irritate his skin.)

I now only change his diaper a few times a day (only when he is stinky.) Otherwise, these diapers hold all the pee in; they are fantastic. A little on the pricey-side compared to pampers or huggies, but worth every penny (especially because we are saving our Earth for our future generations!)
