I had gotten one from Gerber Hospital. I had it for 5 months and when my cat chewed it up, I was lost looking for a binki. I tried several others from nuk. All that were silicon she does not take. Or the ones without a handle. I am desperate to find a classic latex size 2 nuk. In this model. She cries constantly but i can not give her the one the cat ate. Definately would recommend to parents. The hospital gave me more , but they are size one. I dont know how i got a size 2 latex nuk when she was a newborn. But since then she has been lost. I think the fact that the air comes in and out like a bottle is why she likes it. The silicon ones seem to be full of air and they cant get a suction grip to it like a bottle nipple. Can anyone show me how to get a peaceful nights sleep... - lol

These are my daughter's favorite binkies- they are heaven sent for us and I'm happy to have something that comforts her instantly. My only complaint would be that water gets stuck inside when you wash them but it dries quickly enough and isn't a deterrant as far as I'm concerned.

My daughter is almost 1yr old now and i took her off her passy at 6mos old but up until then it was great!! The hosp. I delivered at gave us a pink one with a white handle, the night we brought her home we didn't relise she loved it and she kept me and her father up ALL night. At 7:00 the next morning it dawned on me find that passy we gave it to her she fell right to sleep, she slept all night from then on. She wouldn't take anyother color or the plastic ones.We tried the soothies she hated them. Now I recommend them to all of my friends.

I was lucky enough to get these free at the hospital. I came home with 3 of them since they worked for my newborn son. I was breastfeeding and the 1st night in the hospital when I was nursing and I know he was finished, he wouldn't let go. I was SO tired and wanted to rest. He was too small to nurse laying down so that wasn't an option. I know the professionals and books advise to avoid pacifiers for the first few weeks but this was ridiculous. I buzzed my nurse in dispair hoping she wouldn't give me a hard time about it and it worked! All he wanted to do was suck to stimulate his oral fixation to comfort him and this pacifier handled the job. I was able to get some rest and have been using it ever since. I had bought an assortment of pacifiers just in case I had a picky baby (which he's not thank goodness). I really like the Playtex Ortho Pro in silicone. The pacifier is smaller, slimmer and smoother, easier to slip into a newborn's mouth. The con to it is the holder is very large and wide, like a butterfly. That I don't like. I do have the Nuk in silicone too which I will try also but I do recommend this pacifier to try.

These pacifiers are wonderful. It helps keep my daughters happy when they have to wait in line to be fed when my help is gone. I think they would cry until they were sick if they had to wait without it.

I'm a first time mom, and i tryed alot of pacifier's and he didn't like any of the ones i picked.But once i tryed the Nuk he was hooked the first day and he will only use the Nuk.

This is my third child and the only to take a paci. She will only take the Nuk that was given to her at the hospital. It has a latex nipple instead of most others with a silicone. We had to drive an hour to get more since none of the stores around us carried the ones with latex.

My son received both pacifiers at the hospital and he really took to the Nuk than the other. He will not relax unless he had Nuky in his mouth. I recommend this pacifier to anyone who needs help soothing their baby.

My daughter received one of these in the hospital. THIS IS ALL SHE WILL USE! I made the mistake of buying the silicone one instead of rubber and she will not use it. These are great since she is a super sucker!

Our newborn received this pacifier in the hospital. I didn't realize there was a difference between pacifiers until I tried to give him another NUK pacifier that had a larger nipple. He started to gag. He will not take any other pacifier besides this one. This nipple is the perfect size for newborns. I am nursing so maybe that is also why he prefers this size nipple to another larger NUK. Make sure you have two!!!

I like these and Avent. These are a little bigger, and my baby likes to play with the handle. Plus the nipple is shaped a little differently then others. He seems to keep these in his mouth a little more.

Our son was a super-sucker even at the hospital and this paci was a perfect size to hold onto until he grew big enough for the regular nuk.
