PAMPERS PLEASE BRING BACK THE MESH LINER

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

I just talked with a Pampers representative (glad that's not my job) to find out why the MESH LINER has been removed. I was told that it was a PERMANENT CHANGE, I never did find out WHY this change was made. I bought a jumbo box of size 5 Cruisers 2 weeks ago and within the first week of use we had 3 nights in a row with soaked pajamas and a rash along the leg opening...I'm sure the rash was due to the urine irritating his skin. This is when I realized that we either had an OLD box or a NEW version of Cruisers. I've switched our son back to a stash I had of the old mesh liner ones, not sure what I'm going to do when we run out. I thought for a minute that they accidentally shipped Baby Dry diapers in the wrong box, but nope these have the purple accents. IMO these new Cruisers look, feel and act like the less expensive Baby Dry (should be Baby Wet as we had constant leaks with them when we tried a box out). I also noticed that the new Cruisers absorbent pad doesn't go up in the front and back as far as the old version, could be part of the leaking problem? I'm all about updates and advancement with products THAT NEED IT, but this seems like a move to cut cost on Pampers part by removing the mesh liner (and replacing with the same Baby Dry liner) and taking away some of the absorbent pad. There was nothing wrong with the original Cruisers with mesh, they worked GREAT. I did ask if the Swaddlers still has the mesh and it does at this time, but you can bet that they will be next on the block for cutting costs. PLEASE BRING THE OLD CRUISERS BACK. If you are experiencing these same problems or others, please don't hesitate to call Pampers and complain. I only hope they listen to their users and not their budget/cost slashing executives. If you like this new style (NO LINER) then use the Baby Dry and let those that LIKE the liner to have the old Cruisers back.

I see some comments on here that don't like the mesh liners...the solution to that is USE THE BABY DRY!!!! No mesh liners there.

Very Disappointed in the New Version

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

I am the mother of a 14 month old daughter. Since birth she has never had a diaper rash. We are diligent and extra careful about this area. We have been using the original version of cruisers for a few months and have been totally happy. Unfortunately, unknowingly I bought the new and "improved" Cruisers with the "Comfort Flex" logo on the box. Within a day, my daughter had her first diaper rash. I am furious that the company changed the product for the worst.[...]. I am returning my boxes and running out to a store to find the older versions or switching altogether to another brand. This is a terrible company decision.

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

The old Cruisers with the mesh lining were fantastic! I recommended them to all of my friends who were having babies - they never leaked, were easy to use, comfortable, soft, etc. The new Cruisers without the liner are absolutely useless for my son. He leaks within an hour and certainly can't get through a night in them. I tried the Premium Absorbency Cruisers from [...] as I was told by a Pampers rep that those would definitely have the liner, but the last case I got was linerless as well. The only positive thing I will say is that Pampers has been very gracious and given me coupons to cover the cost of three cases of diapers!

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

Ok, so I have read all of the comments and was confused at first. But then I got the ones without that mesh liner by chance. Wow! I thought they were great. I have a 2 year old little girl and for some crazy reason, she picks the diaper apart after she is wet one time. She pulls the mesh liner out and then the cotton inside the diaper! (Yes, We are working on potty training as she surely knows she does NOT want a diaper on after she is wet or the other!) But my point is the new ones seem more absorbant especially at night time for my little girl AND she cannot rip it all apart! (BONUS!) I just ordered another big pack from Diapers.com and I am hoping that they are the new ones...last pack I purchased from here were the mesh liner. But I also bought the Easy Up's Diego (she loves Diego more than Dora) planning on getting her out of Diapers very soon all together.

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

K- I compared them to see what the deal was. After reading many reviews about the horrible change and calling Pampers myself, I decided to fill both the old and new verisions with water to test the claim that there is no absorbing layer in the rear of the new version....here are my findings:

The NEW version is SUPER ABSORBENT....more so then the old version.

The NEW version DOES have absorbent hinny coverage but it ends about 2" from the top of the diapers edge and looking at the diaper dry it does not appear to have anything to absorb, but it does.

The NEW version is not bulky AT ALL. It is very thin and leads one to beleive that it is cheap, but it actually is still a good diaper and because it is not bulky at all with its' streamline tushy area my little guy's pants are not all tight on the rear.

The NEW version absorbs more liquid in the hinny area then the old version. It just takes a little longer to actually absorb.

The OLD version absorbs liquid all the way to the edge of the front and back sides of the diaper.

The OLD version has the wonderful mesh liner.

The OLD version absorbs FASTER then the new version.

The OLD version seems softer then the new version as the new version has lumps of the absorbant material making the texture SEEM rough. I rubbed both diapers on my face with my eyes closed and could tell the difference in softness, but there is a difference in surface texture making the new version SEEM rough.

The OLD version's absorbent gel is more course or beeded when soaked, meaning, I could feel the little tiny beeds of gel when I pinched it and it seemed more squishy.

The NEW versions's absorbent gel is a more fine type gel and I can not feel each individual beed when I pinched it and it was a more firm gel when soaked rather then a supper squishy gel like the old version.

Those are the differences that are notable....

In the end the new version has it's good points and it would be perfect if it.....had the mesh liner and would absorb faster.

The old version is still great becuase is has the mesh liner and absorbs faster, but it cant hold as much liquid.

Bottom line is the new version absorbs WAY MORE but it takes a little longer to actually abosorb the liquid and it does not have the mesh liner.

I bought Huggies Little Movers, which are bulkier and when I finish using them I will probably switch back to Pampers....but still undecided right now.

They changed them......

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

They changed the design. I also called Pampers, which normally I would not bother, but I was sooooo angry that I called and emailed and asked for my money back! They said they would refund me since I could not get a refund because the product was "open". They said to donate the diapers to charity, but I don't think that these are even good enought to donate....I wouldn't wish a diaper rash on anyone let alone give a diaper that causes them! 1. NO dryweave liner2. NO absorbant material in 3/4 of the diaper3. Rough and abrasive4. Feels cheapI liked the other design. Call Pampers at [@] and tell them what you think. They said that this is a trial change and need all the feedback to make a final decision if the changes will stay or not. The call can take a little time but please tell them so they change them back. For now I am looking for a different kind of diaper.

I thought I was losing my mind until I read these other complaints about Pampers. I am incredibly disappointed with the changes they have made. I bought a box of dry weave only to find they are much thinner, lack virtually ANY absorbtion and I've lost track of how many changes of pants I've done in the past 4 days as a result of heavy leakage. I'm back to changing diapers every other hour just to keep up - including at night! I bought a size up in the cruisers, and found that they have also changed. At least my son made it through the night with a larger size. Poor, poor decision on the part of Pampers. I'm going to try Huggies out.

When child was born he constantly had diaper rash, after switching to Pampers we had no problems. I just checked my box of Cruisers and realized that I haven't started using the new ones yet (mine still has the mesh liner and work fine)I will have to use Huggies Pure and Natural since I know Pampers Baby Dry & Huggies do not work for him due to the large amount of dye in the lining. I am really sick about this change.

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

I want to start by giving a quick tip. Another way of finding the old ones is that the old boxes have MORE diapers per pack. I was in the store & they actually had both on the shelf. Same size, brand, type, color, etc.... But... there were different quantities. I double checked, triple, quad, just to be sure I wasn't crazy. Which to be honest, upsets me a little. Not only are they changing them for some reason, but you're now getting less per pack of a product that's not as good, that's the same price. Not very nice for loyal Pampers purchasers if you ask me!!!! Back to where I was, for those looking for the old ones... Try comparing the quantity. Now although I have noticed a difference myself, I still prefer Cruisers over any other diaper 10-fold, even over the BabyDry. I think they are great but I do think, as someone else said, they shouldn't fix something that wasn't broken. In fact, they didn't even need servicing :) Happy hunting!!!!!

They changed Cruisers for worse

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

I used to like Cruisers but now they are not soft, have no dry weave, look no different than Pampers Baby Dry (which I dont like) and are cheaper than Baby Dry. Not sure what they are trying to accomplish. Then they came out with a third type of diaper/special Cruisers that boasts premium absorbency and costs more. I wont use Cruisers again and wont pay more for the special Cruisers. I found Huggies Pure and Natural and like them a lot, they feel like cotton and are very soft. So I switched to those.

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

After using cruisers for a long time, all of a sudden the ink/dye printed on the diaper began to bleed with wet diapers. The dye bled so much that it stained my son's thighs. I was unable to remove the dye for a couple of weeks even though I gave him a bath every night! I am no longer using pampers products to prevent any unknown toxins from contacted my child's body. I contacted Pampers (P&G) and they didn't seen concerned at all. They just said their dyes don't bleed even after I told them what happend. This is unacceptable to me and I consider this a harmful product.

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

I am so disappointed in the changed Pampers Cruisers it almost makes me sick! I used to brag to anyone who would listen about how wonderful Cruisers were, because they never leaked, were so soft, and had a wonderful dry-weave lining. Unfortunately, Pampers has completely changed their diaper for the worse! The soft, dry-weave lining is gone, and absorbent pad of the diaper completely stops halfway up the bottom!! I never once had a leak problem before, but every bowl movement my 1 year old has had since the new diaper has leaked out the top AND sides! I am on the hunt for better diapers, but I can't find any that have the great dry-weave lining that protects the bottom. Please... I am desperate! If anyone knows of a comparable diaper to the OLD Cruisers, please share!

Comments about Pampers Cruisers Extra Large Case - Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

We have been avid Pampers users for the past 14 years. I have never had any problems with their diapers, but there is something about this particular diaper that is causing some of the worst diaper rash/blisters that I have ever seen on my children. If you take the diaper inner liner and brush across your face, you can feel how abbrasive this diaper is. It is causing bad blistering on my son's bum and important parts! I'm not sure what is different between the weave liner in this diaper as opposed to the Baby Dry, but it is not condusive for my toddler!
