Infrastructure Engineer (PA)

Summary
Diapers.com (1800 Diapers, Inc.) seeks a highly-motivated, trustworthy, dependable and experienced and self-sufficient engineer who can successfully manage:
  1. Corporate administrative systems and networks
  2. Wide area networks between office and warehouse locations
  3. Complex collocated hosting environment based on Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, SAN and Blade technologies
  4. In house IPT/VOIP phone system for call center and administrative users
  5. Work closely with outside vendors who help support our systems
Responsible for corporate and collocated internet hosting network environment, system administration, trouble-shooting and support. In conjunction with a network management provider, will manage and maintain Windows 2003 servers for in-house and co-located (24x7) environment. Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft server configuration and networking including active directory etc. Experience managing large numbers of Windows servers in complex configurations is a must. Must have proven experience with configuring, installing and tuning Windows, setting up users, monitoring the CPU, configure disk drives, install software, etc.
This position is located at our Pennsylvania Distribution Center in Gouldsboro (near Scranton).

Job Responsibilities
End user support
Manage and coordinate outside support vendors
Manage corporate Citrix systems, file and print, active directory, etc.
Manage hosting environment including web servers, database servers, VMWare, Citrix, Cisco, SAN, Blades, etc. ensure adequate tuning and capacity
Manage system security and security of inter-application data transfers.
Ensure maximum uptime for servers and all network services.
Capacity planning, enhancements, and design.
Establishing the standards for the setup and configuration of all desktop and mobile computers.
Manage wide area VPN network. Ensure adequate redundancy of networks to warehouses.
Ensure timely resolution of network/desktop and phone system problems. Administer all corporate network assets.
Maintain and update user and equipment databases.
Understand all business applications and their systems architecture.
Responsible for all network security
Qualifications / Skills
4-year college degree
3 years' experience as the lead, senior, or primary corporate network engineer
In-depth knowledge: Windows XP and 2005 server
Server and data center hardware expertise
Exposure to VMWare, Citrix, HP SAN management, HP Blades, switches, firewalls, and routers, etc.
Experience with MS Office suite, e-mail, TCP/IP configuration, remote access, and most other standard corporate LAN components.
Prior experience in administering/managing a Microsoft e-commerce server environment.
MCSE certifications highly desirable, MS Exchange, MS SQL Server administration, SMS, IIS, security, etc
